Eau de Parfum (EDP) is the second most concentrated perfume type and typically lasts longer which is up to 10 hours on clothes. This longevity certainly justifies its price.
EDP is stronger than lighter perfume types, and not everyone can handle a strong scent. Apply it with a light hand, especially in hot weather or in tight spaces like small offices.
